The short version: Analog Math Clock has no accounts, advertising, behavioral analytics, or application database. Your clocks and pictures stay in local browser storage unless you choose to export or share them.
Information stored by the app
Analog Math Clock stores clock definitions, time zones, appearance preferences, custom equations, alarms, and app settings in your browser's local storage. Uploaded clock-face pictures are stored in the browser's IndexedDB storage. This information remains associated with the browser and website address on the device where you use the app.
Information the app does not collect
- No account, username, password, or sign-in information.
- No advertising identifier or behavioral tracking.
- No application analytics about your clocks, equations, alarms, or activity.
- No cloud copy of your clocks or pictures maintained by the app developer.
Pictures and local processing
Clock-face pictures selected from your device are read and stored locally by your browser. Positioning, resizing, overlays, clock rendering, equation generation, time calculations, and image exports are performed on your device. Analog Math Clock does not upload pictures to an application server.
Alarms and notifications
Alarm schedules are stored locally. If you request notification permission, your browser or operating system manages that permission and delivery. Analog Math Clock does not operate a remote notification service, and background notification delivery cannot be guaranteed.
Exports, sharing, and backups
PNG and SVG exports and .mathclock backups are created locally. A file leaves the app only when you choose a destination through your browser or operating system. A full backup may contain every clock, custom equation, alarm, preference, and uploaded picture stored by Analog Math Clock, so keep backup files private.
Website hosting
The public website and application files are delivered through GitHub Pages. GitHub and the network services used to reach the site may process standard request information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser details, and timestamps under their own policies. Analog Math Clock does not add application analytics or tracking scripts.
External links and feedback
Help and feedback links may open GitHub. Information you submit there is governed by GitHub's policies and is shared only when you choose to submit it. Do not attach a .mathclock backup or private clock-face picture to a public issue.
Deleting your information
You can remove individual clocks, pictures, custom equations, and alarms from the app. Removing Analog Math Clock site data from your browser deletes locally stored app data in that browser. Before clearing browser storage or uninstalling, export a full backup if you may need the data later.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app's behavior or supporting services change. The revision date at the top identifies the current version.
